I must have opted-in at some point for the Steam Beta launcher. Most likely due to updates within Steamworks by Valve.Īfter a bit more research I identified the reason the launcher GUI was different. It also did not show the message that Cities was 32-bit and could not be run. I reinstalled it and quickly identified that the Steam launcher/application was different. I have uploaded a file called SteamClient32BitMessage.zip that shows what is described below so you can see what we see through the power of screenshots.Įven by downloading and installing Steam again it did not fix the problem.Īt 22:00 PM MDT I used the Apple Insider article posted above in the thread to manually remove Steam. Actually it was/is Steam preventing the app from running.
